This Trigger Repair kit is for Single Zone TC's or PC's.
It can also work on the ZB-1 provided you have a Zenbal where the rubber coat is held in place via our industrial strength tape.
If the rubber is glued you won't be able to easily repair.
How long your triggers last is a function directly proportional to the drummers playing style. Electronics are delicate and not made to be beat like a brass cymbal. We protect the electronics as well as possible considering placement also determines sensitivity. However, everything fails eventually that is simply a rule of the universe that mankind may never conquer, so we provide our drummers with a solution to that eventuality.
We do our best to make things as simple as possible and you can't get much simpler than this.
Carefully and slowly, peel back the strike pad which will expose the two screws that hold the trigger box in place. Then you simply screw on the replacement trigger box and you are back up and running.
If you are replacing the trigger make sure you don't need a new strike pad while you are here!
TC/PC Repair kit includes: TC/PC Trigger box, gasket, & securing hardware.
Installation requires a Philips head screwdriver.
Warning: As this will be installed by a non-trained individual there is no inherent warranty. Customer installs these at their own risk. Pintech always recommends that the Pintech product be sent in for repair by a licensed professional. However, we also recognize that sometimes that just isn’t an option for our drummers. We do try to make things as simple as possible for our drummers and if you handle the triggers with the appropriate care and follow the instructions, you shouldn’t have any problems.
