We have recently discovered that this controller will not work on the Yamaha DTXpress IV module or the new Yamaha DTEtreme III. However, be aware that Yamaha changed something between the Express III and Express IV and the Extreme II and Extreme III that caused this to be incompatible. Not being sure what that is we haven't been able to make the controller work as well as it does on the other Yamaha modules therefore we do not recommend it for these modules.
