EZ Head Trigger and Foam
EZ Head Trigger and Foam Replacement
EZ Head trigger & foam replacement. Comes with installation instructions. No soldering or special tools required.
If you have the On Board EZ Tune System installed on your drums and your head trigger goes bad this is all you need to repair your drum and get back up and running.
It is as easy as unplugging the bad and plugging in the new and properly placing the trigger and foam where instructed.
This is also the part you will need if you have replaced your non-EZ tune trigger since July of 2006. If your trigger has the little white plug, this is all you need to repair it.
How long the triggers last is a function directly proportional to the
drummers playing style. Electronics are delicate and do not need to be beat like an acoustic drum to acquire a louder sound, which is a function of the programming in the module and not a function of hitting the drum as hard as you can. We protect the electronics as well as possible considering placement also determines sensitivity. However, everything fails eventually that is simply a rule of the universe that mankind may never conquer, so we provide our drummers with a solution to that eventuality.
This new foam was introduced in July of 2006 and it successfully reduces the hot spot that up till then had been an issue with some of our drummers. Pintech works diligently to hear and act upon all issues that our drummers inform us of.
This new foam also happens to make the position sensing of Pintech drums on the Roland TD12 and TD20, quote "Phenomenal" as stated by several of our drummers.
*As this will be installed by a non-trained individual there is no inherent warranty. Customers install these at their own risk. Pintech always recommends that the Pintech product be sent in for repair by a licensed professional. However, we also recognize that sometimes that just isn't an option for our drummers. We do try to make things as simple as possible for our drummers and if you handle the triggers with the appropriate care and follow the instructions, you shouldn't have any problems.
