Bass Head Saver This mesh saver has a special adhesive by 3M which allows it to adhere to our Evans mesh heads. The bass mesh saver is a canvas covered foam strike pad which absorbs some of the impact from the beater and reduces the "bounciness" normally associated with mesh heads. This reduction of "bounciness" is especially critical in the bass drum.
